TRIPOLI: Fresh Nato air strikes on the Libyan capital Tripoli overnight Friday targeted the district where leader Moamer Kadhafi has his residence, a reporter said.
A powerful explosion rocked the Bab Al-Aziziya district, not far from the city centre, at around 1:00 am (2300 GMT), followed by another a few minutes later.
It was the the fourth night in a row that this part of the city has been targeted with air strikes.
Earlier, the official news agency Jana said that civilian sites in the Al-Qariet region south of the capital had been targeted in air raids. (AFP)
